Virginia June is a graduate of Wayne State University with a Master of Social Work degree (1992). She is also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor. Virginia is a an ordained minister through The Church of Tzaddi, a non-denominational church (http://www.tzaddi.org/). Currently, Virginia and her spouse, Jennifer Mitchell are the founders of White Wolf Healing which conducts training's in the NADA auricular acupuncture protocol at treatment facilities throughout the Midwest. Virginia also has been trained in EMDR and is a Recovery Coach, for those seeking a little more help in their recovery.
Virginia also works full time as a clinical therapist on the rehabilitation unit of Ascension Brighton Center For Recovery (formerly Brighton Hospital), Michigan's oldest licensed drug and alcohol treatment facility. Previously, Virginia worked at Brighton Center for Recovery for seventeen years in various roles.  Virginia's previous roles were Director of Business Development and  Director of Integrative Therapies. Virginia introduced the NADA protocol to Brighton Hospital. Within the first five (5) years (2004- 2009), Virginia trained over 22 staff in the NADA protocol and at least one hundred (100) professionals from other treatment centers. The NADA protocol was then utilized  everyday on every level of care at Brighton Hospital. During that time, Virginia also conducted research over a two-year period on over 1500 patients on the effects NADA acudetox acupuncture. The findings were: substantial decreased cravings, exceptional pain management, decreased anxiety, decreased feelings of depression and reduced PTSD symptoms. 
Since 1992, Virginia has also worked for Havenwyck Psychiatric Hospital as lead social worker and The Salvation Army Harbor Light Systems (Detroit) as a case manager.

Virginia has been trained as an EMDR therapist and has integrated that into her private practice along with NADA Acudetox Ear Acupuncture and Recovery Coaching.

Virginia is committed to finding holistic therapies for the treatment of chemical dependency. Currently, she is a registered trainer with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association and was the former Registered Trainer Representative on the NADA board and is employed full time at Ascension Brighton Center For Recovery.
